Okay, I started learning to fly ass backwards. I started with a stubborn decathlon that was way beyond my ability and quite a handful. I moved to a profile kit that was just an absolute nightmare. From there I went to a $5.00 swap meet trainer that was great for about 8 flights and then something moved or rotted in two or something but I lost control and nose dived into the ground. I suppose it could have been pilot error but I doubt it... NOW I am finally starting where I should have from the beginning. I have a fresh tower hobbies trainer to start the new season. Not sure how long I will fly her because I did gain quite a bit of experience from the other planes I flew last summer. I am thinking I will be ready to advance to the next step pretty quick this summer.

Hi Bill Been nosing around the site and its coming along pretty well, I started flying again about 18 months ago after quiting for 12 years, Started back in with the Tower Hobbies 40 size trainer,. I was well pleased with it as it got me back in the air and after the nerves had calmed down a little I really liked it, its pretty fast and agile in the air, has a great roll rate and I like it a lot! ALso flying a Senior Falcon and Senior Kadet as well as an Avistar. Been building a Senior Telemaster this winter , 8 foot wingspan and looking forward to some armchair flying with it this summer. I have a mix of two and four cycle engines and am leaning more and more to the four strokes. although I have to admit the OS 55 AX can get the pulse racing. Well I have rattled on more than I meant too but keep up the good work and lets see that site keep growing Roger - Whitley County Barnstormers
